The venue is available to hire from 9.00am - 10.00pm Monday - Thursday
and 9.00am - 11.30pm Friday, Saturday & Sunday

Is there a sound system in the venue?

Do I need a music licence?
If you are hiring the room for personal use the answer is No. We have a licence for the venue.
If you hire the room for business purposes and intend to play music, then you need to have your own music license.
Is a kitchen available?
Whilst our kitchen is not available, we do have the following facilities behind the bar: sink and dishwasher; urn and kettles; microwave and fridge.
Can I serve alcohol at my event?
Providing you do not charge for the alcohol, you are permitted to serve it at your event.
Can I decorate the venue?
You are welcome to decorate the venue, however we ask that you take care not to damage the paint or woodwork.
We have put hooks up along both sides of the room which you can hang bunting from.
There are mirrors along both sides of the room that are ideal for sellotaping banners and balloons to.
We have put up wooden battens on the stage so you can use drawing pins to put up banners/posters/balloons.
Can I use helium/confetti balloons at my event?
You certainly can. However, A WORD OF CAUTION:
Whilst balloons filled with confetti are lovely, once they burst you will have a big job on your hands vacuuming at the end of your session.
The ceilings are VERY high and so any helium balloons that slip from the clutches of tiny hands will be lost "forever"!
Are bouncy castles allowed in the hall?
Yes. Our insurance policy covers the use of bouncy castles.
How will I gain entry to the venue?
A keyholder will arrive at the venue ten minutes before your booking to open up the premises and show you around. Ten minutes before the end of your booking, presuming no one has booked the venue after you, the keyholder will return to check all is well and to lock up after you.
Are mobile scooters welcome at the venue?
They are, indeed.
Do I need to tidy, vacuum and remove rubbish at the end of my event?
Yes. We have a vacuum cleaner, brush, and dustpan available for your use but please bring black bin bags with you and take the full ones with you when you go. Please read the GUIDANCE FOR HIRERS for more information.
